People for the environment
We must take care of the planet that hosts us.
For this reason, the VINCI Energies Group is committed to raising awareness among its employees on environmental issues, through training meetings and dedicated activities.
The goal of the entire Group is to reduce digital pollution by 40% by 2030, adopting some best practices such as:
- Using links instead of attachments
- Making audio calls instead of video calls
- Fixing or recycling various corporate and personal devices instead of buying new ones or throwing them away
- Unsubscribing from mailing lists that do not interest us
- Unplugging devices when not in use
- Connecting to the Internet via Wi-Fi instead of 4G
In addition, at Axians we have also planned the following activities:
- Reduction of the use of plastic through the adoption of water dispensers at offices and the distribution of tin bottles.
- Implementation of video-conferencing systems in all Axians locations and adoption of collaboration solutions to limit travel and the use of means of transport with a consequent reduction in CO2 emissions.
- Definition of a Business Travel Policy with the aim of making greater use of the train as a means of transport.
- Separate collection and recycling of waste – where possible – that comes from construction sites.
People for inclusion
The stereotypes and preconceptions rooted in society too often discourage girls from pursuing courses of study in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The VINCI Energies Italia Group believes in gender equality and promotes women’s empowerment, encouraging access and equal participation of females in any sector through numerous initiatives.

People for safety at work
Ensuring health and safety in the workplace is a duty that we put first.
In our Group we promote and build a positive culture of safety and health at work, through a series of actions (courses, meetings, preventive measures, daily briefings) aimed at achieving this goal.
One of the initiatives carried out by the Group is the Safety Week: a week of meetings during which we guide employees through the 6 pillars that we have identified in VINCI Energies Italia to develop a positive culture of safety at work:

People for data security
Our Group is very careful to ensure a high level of data and information security in every area. We implement security policies and procedures
and periodically organize mandatory training and refresher courses to raise awareness of this issue among staff and to make known international best practices on the security of personal and corporate data.
