Reducing the environmental impact of electronic waste and encouraging the reuse of still-functional technology: with this goal, Axians Italy, the ICT brand of VINCI Energies, launches the “New Life for Technology” project.
The initiative will run from March 18, World Recycling Day, to May 17, World Technology Day.
During this period, colleagues across the Group can bring their unused technological devices—smartphones, tablets, PCs, chargers—to the company to contribute to their proper recovery or ensure responsible disposal.
Axians Italy will handle the collection and management in collaboration with ReTech Life, a partner specialized in regeneration and sustainable disposal.
Devices that are still functional will be donated to schools, foster homes, and other needy organizations, while unrecoverable devices will be disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.
“With this initiative, we want to promote a culture of recycling and solidarity, giving technology a second life and contributing to a more responsible future,” says Roberto Corraro, Managing Director of Axians Italy.
