This is the reasoning behind the decision by Axians Italia – a leading company in the Information & Communication Technology sector, established in early 2023 from the merger of Axians Brand id SpA, Axians Saiv SpA, and Axians Sirecom Srl, and part of the VINCI Energies Italia Group – to change its legal status and transform from a joint-stock company into a Benefit Corporation, with the goal of generating a tangible positive social impact.
Axians Italia has now formally included the following common benefit purposes in its bylaws:

Indeed, the VINCI Energies Italia Group brand has long been committed to social impact initiatives. With the NIC (NOC in Prison) project – through which the company offers inmates of the Milan-Bollate Correctional Facility various training courses, both basic and advanced, in networking and cybersecurity, along with the opportunity to work remotely in support of customer services – Axians Italia received the “Best Diversity, Equity & Inclusion HR Project” award at the 2024 Retail Awards.
