De Angelis Food, a pasta factory specializing in fresh pasta, has experienced a significant evolution from an artisan to an industry.
The rapid growth of the company has highlighted several critical issues, mainly related to an inadequate technological infrastructure and strongly rooted in the artisanal approach.
To address these issues, De Angelis Food chose Axians Italia as its technology partner, starting the collaboration in 2015, a relationship that has been consolidated over time thanks to the effective solutions offered by Axians Italia.
As a result of continued growth, there was a need for a scalable and flexible solution, as the on-premises infrastructure had been designed prior to the significant development in 2021.
De Angelis Food thus embarked on the implementation of a new ERP, with the need to integrate complex and expensive systems.
Thanks to Axians Italia’s experience on Azure, an innovative solution was proposed and implemented that extended the on-premise infrastructure to the Cloud, based on an IaaS platform.
This transformation has allowed De Angelis Food to meet its growth objectives, guaranteeing total flexibility thanks to a scalable infrastructure.
The adoption of the Cloud has also allowed the company to carry out rapid projects, allowing the creation of dedicated infrastructures in a short time for the new companies acquired by the De Angelis group.
The result has been a more robust, efficient infrastructure that better supports the company’s expansion ambitions.
